Basketball Game Preview: Medway Mustangs vs. Franklin Panthers

The Medway Mustangs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Franklin Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Medway will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Medway earned a 57-50 win over Holliston. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Panthers are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Franklin suffered their closest loss since December 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Xaverian Brothers by a score of 40-38. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin fell to 21-1. As for Medway, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.
