The Cumberland Gap Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 80-38 defeat at the hands of Anderson County. Cumberland Gap was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Despite the loss, Cumberland Gap still got an impressive performance from Ethan Powell, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.

Cumberland Gap has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Anderson County, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
