University Lake came up short against Veritas/Tenor on Thursday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, University Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Veritas/Tenor is ranked 69th).

University Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Veritas/Tenor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2-3.

As for Veritas/Tenor, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Milwaukee at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
