Mid-Atlantic Christian Conference Football Team
Frederick, Md--The Mid Atlantic Christian Conference today announced its All League selections from the 2009 Football Season. The MACC consists of six teams--Avalon Black Knights, Central Maryland Christian Crusaders, Frederick County Christian Eagles, Fairfax Home School Kings, Maryland Christian Saints, and the Richmond Disciples.
The MACC Champion Richmond Disciples placed six athletes on each the first team and five on the second team. First team offense included seniors Minell McClure and Zack Ratliff, and freshman Chris Bullock. The Disciples' first team defensive selections included senior Matthew Hayman and juniors Adrian Gill and Ryan Edmonds. The Disciples second team offensive selections included Junior Ben Moreland, sophomores Augie Conte and Cody Lee, and freshman Jerome Wright. The Disciples second team defensive selction was senior Jared Simmons.
MACC runners up Saints placed six athletes on the first team and five on the second team. The first team offensive selections for the Saints included Evan Chase, Luke DiPaola, Caleb Gordon and Jed Yousefi. First team defensive selections for the Saints were Ryan Harris and Eric Powell. Second team offensive selections for the Saints included Mike Carlton and Mike James. The Saints second team defensive selections were Will Carlton, Evan Chase and Rob Hunt.
The third place Crusaders placed four members on the All MACC first team. On offense they were Andrew Geddie, Andrew Werking and George Misulia. The first team defensive selection for the Crusaders was Christian Zinnamosca. The Crusaders James Lohrman was selected to the second team offense and Kyle Dean and Gary Dowdy were second team defensive selections.
The fourth place Kings placed four members on the All MACC first team, including offensive standouts Ben Tobias and Scott Payne and Defensive players Patrick Kenna and JD Foster. The Kings' second team selections included Isaac Lewendoski on offense, Pete Shumaker on defense and kicker Matthew Jacobeen.
Fifth place Black Knights first team offensive selections included senior Matthew Bodmer and first team defensive selections include seniors Daniel Kline and John Funk. Black Knight Second Team offensive selection was sophomore David Collins and the defensive selections was Junior Todd Johnson.
The sixth place Eagles landed three players on the first team and two on the second team. The first team offensive selection was Scott Schellhardt. First team defensive selections were seniors Nick Cavell and Christian Wilson. The Eagles second team offensive selection was sophomore TJ Campagna. Eagles' second team defensive selection was freshman Jordan Way.
