Basketball Game Preview: Reno Huskies vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

Two dominant guards in Brookesly Wilson and Josie Williamson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Reno Huskies will host the Bishop Manogue Miners at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Reno will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Reno is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Damonte Ranch with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-50. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Mustangs are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 50-39 to Spanish Springs.

Reno is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Bishop Manogue, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

Reno strolled past Bishop Manogue in their previous meeting on January 8th by a score of 55-39. Will Reno repeat their success, or does Bishop Manogue have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
