Softball Recap: Los Fresnos Falcons vs. Mission Eagles

Los Fresnos was the 8-5 winner over Mission when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Los Fresnos Falcons lost 18-3 to the Mission Eagles on Tuesday.

Los Fresnos saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harmony Moore, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Alexis Perez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Los Fresnos' loss dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Mission, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Fresnos will face off against Lyford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mission, they will venture away from home to take on Martin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
