Basketball Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

Westminster has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 46-36 to the Pace Academy Knights on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in January.

Pace Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Wrigley out in front who posted 14 points along with five boards and three steals. Kate Grice was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Pace Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Westminster will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Coweta at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Pace Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Chapel Hill at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th.
