            Volleyball Recap: Wagner Red Raiders vs. Chamberlain Cubs        
        
		
        
        
            Wagner had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Chamberlain Cubs. The Red Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cubs, too.
 One reason for the win was Wagner's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11,  25-6.

Leading Wagner to victory were  Braxton Nedved and  Hannah Holzbauer.  Nedved  hit 66.7% for six  kills and 12  digs and 11  aces, while  Holzbauer  had eight  digs, five  kills,  and four  aces. Nedved has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more  assists the last 33 times she's  played.  Brylie Link also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
 They weren't the only good server: Wagner  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 17  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Wagner's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Chamberlain, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the  loss, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wagner will take on Platte/Geddes at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Chamberlain, they will venture away from home to  take on Crow Creek  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
