Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes a Loss

Notre Dame Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covenant Christian Academy Rams.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9.

Covenant Christian Academy was led to victory by McKenna King and Grayson Taylor. King had six aces, while Taylor had two aces. That's the most aces King has posted since back in September of 2024. Isabel Bledsoe also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Notre Dame Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Academy will square off against Valor Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bible Baptist Christian on the 26th.
