Baseball Recap: Environmental Charter Comes Up Short

Environmental Charter fell victim to Lawndale and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Cardinals. The White Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Environmental Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Lawndale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coming up, Environmental Charter will face off against Ambassador on Tuesday. As for Lawndale, they will head out on the road to take on Santa Monica at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
