Baseball Game Preview: Allendale Falcons vs. Coopersville Broncos

For the second straight game, Allendale will face off against Coopersville. The Falcons will welcome the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Allendale: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Coopersville has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Things were looking good for Allendale after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Coopersville by a score of 7-6.

For Coopersville's part, Ethan Umlor was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. Another player making a difference was Ethan Holzgen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Coopersville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-1 record this season. As for Allendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
