Softball Recap: Bowie Wins Going Away Against Harts Bluff

Bowie won the last time they faced Harts Bluff and things went their way on Friday too. Bowie was the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over Harts Bluff. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Abigail Dial was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adaline Holt, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Bowie's record now sits at 5-6. As for Harts Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bowie is set to square off against their familiar foe Rivercrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harts Bluff will challenge rival Detroit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
