Volleyball Recap: Freeman Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Freeman proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Godwin Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mavericks have posted since September 2nd.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Freeman, bringing their record up to 9-8. As for Godwin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Freeman will challenge James River Midlothian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Godwin, they will square off against Glen Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
