Basketball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King lost against Cass Tech back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The King Crusaders had to suffer through a 58-16 loss at the hands of the Cass Tech Technicians. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Technicians are ranked 93rd).

King dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cass Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will take on Renaissance at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Renaissance has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three games. As for Cass Tech, they will challenge Mumford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
