Volleyball Recap: Wallace Takes a Loss

Wallace lost against Wauneta-Palisade back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Broncos. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 19-25, 25-19.

Reagan Finley paced Wallace's offense, picking up ten kills. Finley got some help from Mariana Aceves-Lopez and her 11 assists. Finally, Finley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Wallace's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-10.

Coming up, Wallace will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sandhills Valley at 6:10 p.m. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they will venture away from home to face off against Medicine Valley on Tuesday.
