Recap: Bruce Trojans vs. Houston Hilltoppers

The Bruce Trojans were the 53-48 winner over the Houston Hilltoppers when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. Bruce took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Houston on Thursday. Bruce has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Bruce lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dannon Campbell. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with 4 steals. Campbell scored a full 35.2% of Bruce's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ankavious Glass, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Bruce's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Houston, they pushed their record up to 1-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.

Bruce will challenge Potts Camp at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Houston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Calhoun City at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Calhoun City's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
