Minneapolis Southwest lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Roosevelt, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Lakers put the hurt on the Teddies with a sharp 12-2 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Minneapolis Southwest's third in a row) raised their record to 5-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Minneapolis Southwest will welcome Richfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Blake at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.89 runs per game on average), something the Teddies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
