Julian has gone 6-1 against West Shores recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. Julian will be strutting in after a victory while West Shores will be coming in after a defeat.

Julian will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against Francis Parker on Friday. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 36-20 win over the Lancers. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, West Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 75-30 loss at the hands of Borrego Springs. The Wildcats gained 263 more yards on the day, but it was the Rams that made the best use of them.

Julian will have to contain Marcos Salas as he made an impact in West Shores' last game. He rushed for 363 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 47 yards and one touchdown. Salas' longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.

Even if they lost, West Shores' defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Mario Gonzalez with two. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played.

West Shores' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Julian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Julian against West Shores in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 50-8 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
