Soccer Recap: Mission Hills Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Mission Hills was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westview Wolverines. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Grizzlies came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Wolverines are ranked 198th).

Mission Hills dropped their record down to 12-3-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Westview, they now have a winning record of 6-5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission Hills will venture away from home to take on San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
