Piper extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-3. They walked away with a 97-85 win over the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since January 20, 2022, but that streak is no more.

As for Pompano Beach, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Even though they lost, their still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Pompano Beach lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Christian Baxter, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan McIntosh-Raiford, who put up 17 points.

Piper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-58 victory against South Broward on the 11th. As for Pompano Beach, they have also already played their next contest, a 79-69 defeat against Northeast on the 10th.
