Basketball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 47-16 loss at the hands of the Rutherford Bulldogs. The match marked the Blue Tide's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rutherford, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Harrison has already played their next contest (against American Christian School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rutherford will head out to take on Weehawken at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rutherford's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Weehawken's offense will have their work cut out for them.
