Soccer Recap: Canfield's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Canfield duked it out with Fairview on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Canfield's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Alexander Dace, who's now up to two this season.

Canfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Fairview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Canfield will venture away from home to face off against Ursuline at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Canfield will be up against Ursuline's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fairview, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on DuBois at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
