Arroyo owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marshall Eagles, sneaking past 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Eagles back in April, they had to take a 9-6 defeat.

The result came thanks to Richard Inostroz's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Arroyo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Fonseca, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Arroyo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Marshall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6-1 record this season.

Arroyo will welcome South El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Marshall, they will face off against El Monte at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
