Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clearwater). Everything went their way against the Gibbs Gladiators on Wednesday as they made off with a 24-2 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tornadoes with their most commanding win of the season.
Keenan Jack made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Jack was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).
