Softball Recap: McKinney Comes Up Short

McKinney fell victim to Plano East and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Plano East Panthers. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Plano East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.

Coming up, McKinney will take on Rock Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. McKinney is facing Rock Hill at the right time seeing as Rock Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plano East, they will face off against Allen at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Plano East knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Allen likes a good challenge.
