Lanesville extends road losing streak to 16

The Lanesville Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-38 walloping at the hands of Clarksville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Lanesville has suffered since December 9, 2023.

Nolyn Hall and Brady Elias certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Hall scored 18 points along with three steals, while Elias scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season.

Clarksville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Juwan Walker led the charge by scoring 16 points. Walker continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Ray Mcclendon was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Lanesville's loss was their 16th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-13. As for Clarksville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Lanesville will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Rock Creek Academy at 12:30 p.m. As for Clarksville, they will head out on the road to square off against South Central at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
