Volleyball Recap: Glacier Peak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Cascade on Tuesday, Glacier Peak came back down to earth. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Snohomish Panthers on Thursday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-20.

Sarah Box paced Glacier Peak's offense, picking up seven kills. Box got some help from Sydney Dilling and her nine assists. Dilling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Glacier Peak's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9-2. As for Snohomish, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glacier Peak is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snohomish will take on rival Marysville Getchell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
