After losing to Riverside the last time they met, Point Pleasant decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Big Blacks won by a set and slipped past the Warriors 2-1.

Point Pleasant can attribute much of their success to Leila Mcbeath, who had seven digs and three aces.

Point Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Point Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. Albans on the 26th. Riverside has also already played their next contest (against Capital), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
