Soccer Recap: Liberty Charter Comes Up Short

Liberty Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Christian Patriots, falling 5-2. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Lions struggled afterwards.

Liberty Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2-2.

Liberty Charter will square off against High Tech Mesa at 3:30 p.m. on January 23rd. High Tech Mesa will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Liberty Charter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Christian, they will challenge High Tech SD at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
