Volleyball Recap: Northside - Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Northside - Jacksonville extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-5. They came up short against the White Oak Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Madyson Wills paced Northside - Jacksonville's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wills got some help from Sa'Niyah Serrano and her 11 assists.

As for White Oak, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

White Oak was led to victory by Brianna Sherman and Kylie Stephens. Sherman had seven digs and three aces, while Stephens had 11 kills, five digs, and four aces. Stephens is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season.

Looking ahead, Northside - Jacksonville will welcome Richlands at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Oak, they will venture away from home to challenge Dixon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
