Softball Recap: Siegel's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Siegel came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Castle Knights. For the Stars, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Rylee Miller was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Abbigail Raciborski was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Siegel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

Siegel's record now sits at 7-4-1. As for Castle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Siegel will challenge Harbor Creek at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Castle, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Evansville Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on April 8.
