Pueblo East had won nine straight games and Myah Abeyta did her part to make it ten on Tuesday. The Pueblo East Eagles breezed past the Pueblo Central Wildcats to the tune of 75-25 thanks in part to Abeyta, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 23 points and five steals. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Haley Cordova, who went 6-for-14 en route to 16 points and six assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Despite the loss, Pueblo Central still got an impressive performance from Rosalia Martinez, who posted nine points.

Pueblo East's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Pueblo Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Coming up, Pueblo East will venture away from home to challenge Pueblo County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pueblo East's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Pueblo County's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pueblo Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 44-25 win against Pueblo Centennial on the 19th.
