Softball Game Preview: Windsor Warriors vs. Plainville Blue Devils

The Windsor Warriors will head out to face off against the Plainville Blue Devils at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Windsor has given up an average of 16.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Windsor came up short against Edwin O. Smith on Friday, falling 13-7. The Warriors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Plainville lost 9-3 to Berlin on Friday.

Plainville's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Windsor, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Windsor beat Plainville 7-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
