Softball Recap: Trinity Prep Has No Trouble Against Creekside Christian Academy

Trinity Prep's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars with a sharp 18-0 victory. That 18 run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Kynzie McBride was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Reagan Lawler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Tyliah Arnold, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4.

Trinity Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .871. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Trinity Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games.
