Malden entered their tilt with Chelsea on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Red Devils 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tornados, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Malden's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Chelsea, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Malden will take on rival Lynn Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Tornados 3.3, the Rams 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Chelsea is set to face off against their familiar foe Revere at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
