Softball Recap: Arleta Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Arleta can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the Legacy Tigers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since April 11th.

JUSTINE MEJIA was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

Arleta has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Legacy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Arleta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legacy, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against San Fernando on the 23rd.
