Football Game Preview: White Swan Cougars vs. Goldendale Timberwolves

White Swan is 1-6 against Goldendale since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. White Swan will be strutting in after a victory while Goldendale will be coming in after a loss.

If Goldendale heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when White Swan took over last week. The Cougars walked away with a 22-15 win over Highland on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won six in a row.

Goldendale had taken Cle Elum-Roslyn down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Timberwolves had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Warriors.

White Swan picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Goldendale, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.

White Swan was dealt a bruising 48-6 loss at the hands of Goldendale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
