Baseball Recap: Bell Continues Road Dominance on Friday

South Gate typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Bell proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Rams 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Rams on Wednesday, they had to take a 7-3 loss.

Gustavo Ramirez was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Manuel Solis, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Bell's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for South Gate, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-8.

Bell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Burroughs on the 11th. As for South Gate, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Legacy on the 15th.
