After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palacios, Danbury was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Louise Hornets by a score of 20-8. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 26-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Christopher Warren went supernova, rushing for 118 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries.

Danbury's run defense was locked in: Louise could only muster 3.4 yards per carry. The Panthers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.4.

Despite the loss, Louise still got an impressive performance from Eric Melchor, who rushed for 62 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Danbury's record is now 3-1. As for Louise, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danbury will challenge Bloomington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Louise, they will take on Woodsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
