Volleyball Recap: Annandale Takes a Loss

If Annandale was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rockford last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals fell just short of the Rogers Royals by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Annandale's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Annandale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Southwest Christian on the 10th. As for Rogers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Providence Academy on the 10th.
