Yuma hasn't had much luck against Limon recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Indians will host the Badgers at 2:00 p.m. Yuma is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Jesus Rodriguez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alex Pensado, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Lennox Huwa was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Limon was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of Las Animas by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Badgers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Limon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camdyn Tacha, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.
Limon's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Yuma, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Yuma has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Limon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Yuma got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Limon by a conclusive 11-3 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Badgers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
