Basketball Game Preview: Mossyrock Vikings vs. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves

Mossyrock is 2-8 against Morton/White Pass since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Mossyrock Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Mossyrock has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Thursday, Mossyrock took a blow against Napavine, falling 102-54. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Tigers are ranked 81st).

Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to Onalaska on the road by a 67-50 margin.

Morton/White Pass' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mossyrock, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Mossyrock strolled past Morton/White Pass in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 73-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mossyrock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
