Basketball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Takes a Loss

Pierre T.F. Riggs suffered their closest loss since December 20, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Rapid City Central Cobblers by a score of 63-60. The Governors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobblers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Pierre T.F. Riggs still got an impressive performance from Lincoln Dilges, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 18 points. Jerren Deal was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Rapid City Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
