Softball Recap: Daniel Takes a Loss

Daniel was the 10-2 winner over Travelers Rest when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Daniel fell 6-2 to Travelers Rest on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Iams, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Daniel's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Travelers Rest, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel will take on Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pickens will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Daniel surely won't give up without a fight. As for Travelers Rest, they will challenge Blue Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
