Recap: Warren Dragons vs. Conneaut Area Eagles
Make it seven blowout wins for the Warren Dragons this season. They blew past Conneaut Area, posting a 84-34 victory at home. That 50 points margin sets a new team best for Warren this season.
Brady Berdine was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braylon Barnes, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Warren pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Conneaut Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren will face off against Titusville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Titusville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 501st, while Warren is ranked 61st). As for Conneaut Area, they will head out on the road to square off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
