Mount Calm are taking a road trip to take on the Coolidge Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Mount Calm's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Penelope 50-0. Fans of Mount Calm have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Trey Walker produced another solid effort rushing for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Colton Peterson also helped with two TDs in total.

Meanwhile, Coolidge slipped by Oglesby 59-58 on Friday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Yellowjackets were down 42-16 in the second quarter.

The win keeps Mount Calm at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.0 points on average this season. As for Coolidge, their record now sits at 4-1.

Mount Calm might still be hurting after the 54-34 loss they got from Coolidge when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can Mount Calm avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
