Soccer Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon managed to keep up with Borger until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Canyon Eagles lost 4-1 to the Borger Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Borger, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon will host West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Borger, they will welcome Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
