After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Community School of Davidson, Lincoln Charter was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Langtree Charter Academy Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won nine in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln Charter took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, 25-13.

Lincoln Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Teagan Jones, who had ten assists and three aces. Those three aces gave Jones a new career-high.

Jones wasn't the only good server: Lincoln Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The victory got Lincoln Charter back to even at 4-4. As for Langtree Charter Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Charter will host Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Langtree Charter Academy and Lake Norman Charter will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
