The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Prince Avenue Christian came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 61-56 W over Franklin County on Tuesday.

Prince Avenue Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for East Jackson, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-13.
