It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Valley Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Menlo-Atherton Bears 65-51. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Bears back in December of 2024, they had to take a 73-60 loss.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Menlo-Atherton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

Coincidentally, Valley Christian and Menlo-Atherton will both be playing Archbishop Riordan the next time they take the court. Menlo-Atherton will head out to face Archbishop Riordan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Valley Christian will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
